Dasole Oh

Dasole Oh was born in Italy, raised in Korea, and is a Korea-based artist. Her work is rooted in an interest in memory and forgetting. Memories are fragile—they can be forgotten, manipulated, or mistaken for something they never were. Rather than remaining intact, they distort, reconstruct, and even disappear. The irony that memories, which shape identity, are actually so unstable has significantly inspired her work. Instead of attempting to preserve specific memories like a photograph, She explore forgetting as a re-creative process, visualizing how memory is continuously edited and fades away.
